Wave Photography & Ocean Landscapes

This gallery explores wave photography through changing light, movement, and perspective where land and sea converge. From powerful surf to subtle reflections, textured water, and abstract patterns, these photographs reveal the ocean's constantly changing character. The character of a wave changes with the light. Morning, evening, fog, and storms each reveal different textures, colors, and forms.

At times, the ocean becomes less a landscape than a study of shape, texture, and reflection, where familiar subjects dissolve into patterns of light and water.

Every wave is shaped by wind, tide, underwater contours, and distant weather systems. No two are ever identical.

The ocean rewards patience. Its most memorable moments are often the briefest—a changing reflection, a passing swell, or a single wave illuminated by unexpected light. These photographs are an invitation to look slowly at a landscape defined by constant motion.
